Part of 2 Architecture's portfolio includes residential/mixed-use development. Building X is one example of projects 2 Architecture is taking on in a lead development role to design, build, and construct. This particular development is located on a high-profile site in Winnipeg. The Forks is a historical site which is known as a meeting place for Winnipeggers and tourists. A new vision was imagined for the Forks site: to transform part of the existing land use into pedestrian-friendly commercial and residential buildings. Building X is a mixed-use building, with two storefront units on the ground floor to encourage pedestrian interaction and five luxury suites on top.
